SPA 2.25 litre Formula Mechanical FIA approved fire system.
Newly developed for 2019, this new Formula fire extinguisher meets the latest FIA Technical List No. 16 approval and features the latest technology from SPA.
Due in part to its cleaver design this new extinguisher is ideal for use in both Saloon cars and single seaters, especialy those with restricted cockpit spaces. It is extremly compact, alloy bottle, offers a significant weight saving of approxiemtly 2.5kg in comparison to the 3.75L and 4L alternatives systems.
Filled with 2.25 litres of AFFF-AR, alcohol resistant water-based foam, this mechanically operated fire extinguisers design offers excellent fire knockdown and fire out times thanks inpart to its improved flow rate and nozzle atomisation. Installation is extreamly easy, with a total of 4 nozzles, 2 for the cockpit and 2 for the engine bay.
This system comes as a complete kit with all the componets to fully install.
