Job Vacancy - Stores Operative

Due to continued expansion, RACE & RALLY, Belfast is looking to recruit a self -motivated individual for a newly created Stores Operative role within their busy premises in Carryduff.

Candidates must have the ability to work in a busy environment, become a key team member and be able to deal with delivery agents. They must also be able to work autonomously using their own initiative in a fast paced business. A friendly and engaging personality is essential.

Successful candidates will be required to:

• Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner, maintain an organised, clean and tidy workplace
• Be proficient in stock management
• Use It systems in place to manage stock levels
• Be responsible for receiving and checking all deliveries
• Liaise with couriers and the relevant paperwork, follow up deliveries and chase delays and failed shipments
• Have a flexible approach to work
• Be able to cope with the fitness demands of a busy warehouse
• Liaise with suppliers and handle queries relating to delivery and stock discrepancies
• Report and deal with any stock shortages
• Keep inventory management systems up to date
• Carry out regular stock takes

Hours: Monday-Thursday 9-6, Fri- 9-5

Driving license essential and a forklift licence is preferred. A motorsport background would be an advantage.
