Meet the Race & Rally Team - Jason Frazer

Race and Rally have recently expanded our workforce to enable us to cope with our extensive growth over the years here in Carryduff. Our worldwide exports have been a huge part of that uplift and to ensure our orders are dispatched and delivered on time, we have recruited a new Warehouse Operative; introducing Jason Frazer.
We caught up with him for a chat...
What is your role at R&R?
I work in the very busy warehouse of R&R! I pack most of the orders going out as well as deal with incoming deliveries and also look after the booking of any collections required. I also keep an eye on the orders that we dispatch to make sure nothing has been stuck in customs or lost by the couriers and I don't rest until I know the delivery has reached the customer.
What car do you drive?
I currently own three cars, a 1972 Morris Mini, a 2011 Passat estate (that has been in the garage for a sizable chunk of my time in R&R - don't ask) and a 1990 Rover Metro GTi.
Tell us more about that Metro - we love a bit of nostalga here at R&R.
The car part of the Dunlop GTi Challenge Cup and something a little different. I completed my first year in motorsport in 2021, contesting the NI Sprint Championship. It will take me some time to get better but there’s no other hobby like motorsport - I love it!
Why R&R?
After spending quite a bit of money in R&R getting the car prepared I thought it was time to get some of the money back so I got a job here! It's great to be surrounded by such superb equipment and every one of us has motorsport at heart so it has a great atmosphere.
What was your inspiration to get into motorsport?
My dad has been the main reason I loved cars. He has worked with cars most of his life, from building and preparing rally cars and single seaters to rallying his own mini and shouting at me my whole life for not holding the torch in the correct place and angle!
