Peugeot Sport break into TCR with new 308

Peugeot Sport will makes its mark in the Touring Car world in 2018, as it launches it’s TCR specification version of their 308 Racing Cup car.

The French manufacturer has been developing the car for the various TCR series for 2018, working primarily on producing more power from its 1.6 litre turbocharged engine so it can compete with its 2.0 litre turbocharged rivals.

Peugeot has been utilising the technical skills of Citroën Racing, part of the new combined Motorsports Centre of Excellence which includes DS Performance, to allow the 308 TCR to compete on the same level.
