It allows for lighting functions to be controlled at the touch of a button, and via the CANNY.LZR app can be configured to control up to 4 outputs, as a stand-alone switch or in combination with other FLIC2 Smart Buttons. The Smart Button can also be programmed to operate lights regardless of the vehicle ignition being on (or more specifically regardless of power being received by the vehicle’s CAN bus system).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExamples of practical functions include:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDe\/activation of your high beam lights (regardless of the vehicle high beams being on\/off) – especially relevant in countries which restrict the number of auxiliary lights permissible to be connected to the vehicle high beams.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDe\/activation, or switching, of the position light function on your Lazer product.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDe\/activation of your work \/ reverse lights on the vehicle. The customer can select via the CANNY App whether to configure the button so that the CANNY output stays on, or switches off, when the vehicle ignition is off (and when CAN signals stop being sent over the Can Bus system)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMode select on Beacon function of your lamps\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eNote, when using the FLIC2 Smart Button to control the yellow dip mode of an Elite+ product, it would be required to wire in an additional relay to the switching channel of the lamp, to reverse the polarity of the signal.
