Ideal for protection against radiant heat, this reflective heat shield comprises a weavelocked continuous filament 800 g/m² glass cloth with an aluminium foil laminated to the outer face and a high temperature, high tack, adhesive applied to the underside. The aluminium foil and weavelock prevent fray after cutting. The glass fabric is rated to 550˚C and the film adhesive is rated to 150˚C.

This product is designed to reflect radiant heat and not designed to be in direct contact with the heat source, so whilst the aluminium foil is rated at up to 450˚C it can be limited by the underlying adhesive used to laminate the foil to the glass cloth.
