Stilo Rally Helmets

Choosing the right helmet comes down to three things: competition level, how much weight matters to you, and budget.

The VENTI4 Range: Stilo's Latest and Lightest

The VENTI4 is Stilo's newest platform, built on 25 years of rally experience and available in two versions. The carbon shell starts from 1,120g, which is the lightest in the range, and the go-to for professional competitors who want every advantage on stage.

The composite version offers the same safety and ventilation features with a fibreglass and pre-preg fibre shell from 1,370g, available in titanium grey, white, and orange offshore colourways at a more accessible price.

Both carry FIA 8859-2024 approval, feature an adjustable peak, top ventilation, and improved sound insulation. Sizes run from 54 to 64.

Venti Trophy Plus: Great Value Without Compromise

The Trophy Plus is one of Stilo's most popular helmets for a reason. Fibreglass/Kevlar shell, FIA 8859-2015 homologation, and genuine Stilo build quality at a price that works for national championships, clubman rallying, and regular track days. If you're stepping up from a basic helmet and want something built to last multiple seasons, this is where most of our customers start.

ST6R: Built for Circuit and Sprint

Designed for hillclimbs, autocross, and sprint events where a compact shell profile and minimal weight matter most. Available in carbon and composite, both FIA 8859-2024 approved.

Stilo Intercoms and Communication Systems

Clear communication isn't optional in rallying. Every Stilo intercom connects directly to Stilo helmets via the integrated Nexus connector, and most are compatible with Bell helmets too.

  • Wired: The WRC 03 is our best-selling Stilo intercom. It is 9V battery powered with auto on/off, dual volume controls, and a camera connection. For noisier cars, the WRC Des 9V adds a noise cancellation switch and runs off the vehicle's 12V supply with 9V backup.

  • Digital & Wireless: The DG-20 features digital active noise cancellation, independent sound settings, Bluetooth, and a mobile app for fine-tuning. The WL-10 Wireless cuts cables entirely, with rechargeable keys giving up to 5 hours of talk time and a 10-metre range.

  • Practice Headsets: Our most-added-to-cart Stilo product. Connects to most Stilo intercoms and designed for road sections and recce work so you're not wearing your full helmet when you don't need to. Add one per crew member when buying an intercom setup.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right Stilo helmet size?

Measure your head circumference about an inch above the eyebrows at the widest point. Stilo sizes run from 54 (XXS) to 64 (XXXL). The helmet should sit low on the brow with even contact around the top of the head, snug but without pressure points. Not sure between sizes? Get in touch and we'll help you find the right fit.

Are Stilo intercoms compatible with other helmet brands?

All Stilo intercoms use the Nexus connector standard, which works with Bell helmets and any helmet with a Nexus-standard port. If you're running Peltor electronics, Stilo make adaptor cables so you can mix brands without replacing your existing kit.

What FIA homologation do Stilo helmets carry?

Current models carry either FIA 8859-2015 or the newer FIA 8859-2024 standard. SNELL certification varies by model, with newer helmets carrying the latest SA2025 certification. The VENTI4 and ST6R carry the latest FIA 8859-2024 standard. All are valid for international FIA competition.

Do I need a practice headset as well as an intercom?

For most crews, yes. Your helmet handles in-car communication during stages, with the intercom connecting driver and co-driver. For road sections and recce work where you’re not wearing your full helmet, you’ll need a practice headset. The Stilo WRC DES Practice Headset connects to most Stilo intercoms and is one of our most popular add-ons. Most crews buy one per crew member alongside their intercom setup. If you're putting together a complete communication kit, it's worth adding at the same time. Browse our Intercom Accessories for other useful add-ons.
