2.7 Kg Coldfire Mechanical Extinguisher Kit

The Coldfire extinguishant used in these systems is a highly effective plant based, environmentally friendly and sustainable wetting agent used in both the cockpit and engine. These systems are cost effective and will be a key competitor in this market without using a powder type extinguishant in the cockpit of the vehicle. The benefits to this new FEV system is no mess or electrical damage within the cockpit on activation, and no effect on the driver with increased visibility if the system is set off.

This system has been chosen by one of the largest Rally 2 OEM manufacturers and successfully implemented into their Rally 2 vehicles for 2024, replacing another system. It can be used in Rally2, Rally3, Rally4, Rally5 and also for use in GT3 and Cross Country Non Hybrid and Electric vehicles.

The system is covered for Class I – Petrol, Class II - Petrol +30% Ethanol and Class V – E85. Applicable for all cockpit sizes from 0.00m³ to 4.1m³. It is equivalent in weight and the bottle is smaller in size to the comparable system that meets all of the above fuel types.
