Collection: ZeroNoise

ZeroNoise intercom systems for rally co-driver communication, from the Bell sister company that develops its amplifiers alongside Bell racing helmets. The range covers the digital Fury and Fearless Clearvoice intercoms, the analog Brave, practice headsets for recce and road sections, Nexus cables and adaptors, replacement microphone foam covers and the ZeroNoise LED map lights.

ZeroNoise Intercom Systems

ZeroNoise amplifiers, headsets and cables are designed to work together as one system, and connect to other brands' helmet kits through Nexus connectors. Here's what to look for across the range:

  • Dual volume control on every amplifier, so driver and co-driver can each set their own level
  • Nexus connectors as standard, the shared connector used across Bell and Stilo
  • Anti-shock, anti-vibration silicone covers on all three amplifiers, with brackets for mounting to the dash or roll bar
  • Audio out for in-car cameras, so pace notes can be recorded with your footage
  • Practice headsets and accessories for recce, road sections and service, plus the LED map light for night stages

Digital vs Analog ZeroNoise Intercoms

All three intercoms give you dual volume control, so the choice comes down to how much noise processing and connectivity you want.

  1. Brave (analog): the value option, powered by a 9V internal battery or the car's 12V supply, with advanced noise filtering, no "pop" when connecting headsets, and an audio out for a camera
  2. Fury (digital): runs off the car's 12V supply, with adaptive noise cancelling and four pre-set modes. Terrain targets road surface noise, Engine targets engine noise, Boost raises voice volume, and Road/Stage turns off the radio output so communication stays purely between driver and co-driver
  3. Fearless Clearvoice (digital): the top of the range, running off the car's 12V supply, with ClearVoice adaptive noise cancelling, separate adjustment of noise compression and voice equalisation, a touch display that works with gloves, Bluetooth for music and calls in Road Mode, ZeroNoise app control, CAN-bus integration and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance

Connectors and Compatibility

ZeroNoise uses Nexus connectors, so compatibility comes down to male vs female rather than brand.

  • Brave and Fury come with male Nexus connectors, which pair with helmets and headsets using female Nexus connectors, such as Bell and Stilo
  • Fearless Clearvoice uses panel-mounted connectors, and driver and co-driver cables aren't included. Order the Driver/Co-Driver Nexus Intercom Cable (200cm) in male or female to match your helmets
  • Nexus Male to Male adaptor is a 15cm coiled cable for joining two female-ended components, including ZeroNoise and Stilo

Practice Headsets

Practice headsets are for when you're in the car without a helmet, on recce or road sections between stages. The ZeroNoise Practice Headset gives high hearing protection with a flexible boom and noise-cancelling microphone. It's a female plug version, compatible with Stilo WRC amplifiers and ZeroNoise amplifiers with a male Nexus plug. The 2x ZeroNoise Headsets & Holder Bundle pairs two practice headsets with a holder sized to fit them.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the ZeroNoise Fury and Fearless?

Both are digital intercoms with adaptive noise cancelling and dual volume control. The Fury keeps things simple with four pre-set buttons for different noise conditions. The Fearless Clearvoice adds a glove-friendly touch display, separate control of noise compression and voice equalisation, Bluetooth, app control, CAN-bus integration and an IP65 rating. Driver and co-driver cables are sold separately for the Fearless.

Can I use a ZeroNoise intercom with other brands of helmet or headset?

Usually, yes. ZeroNoise uses Nexus connectors, the same standard used by Bell and Stilo. What matters is the connector gender: the Brave and Fury have male Nexus connectors for helmets and headsets with female connectors. If both sides are female, the Nexus Male to Male adaptor joins them.

Do I need to buy cables with the Fearless Clearvoice?

Yes. Driver and co-driver cables aren't included with the Fearless Clearvoice. Order the Driver/Co-Driver Nexus Intercom Cable in male or female to match your helmets, which also means you can change connector type later by swapping the cable rather than the intercom.
